Activities

A hiking trail with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. With a waterfall at the end and a special ridge which gives the hike its name, it is a great adventure.

Paso del Angel

The Periquera is a series of five waterfalls with many trails for hiking.  It is well known in the area of Villa de Leyva and a popular spot for  visitors.

Iguaque is located within a National Park.  A seven hour hike will take you through a gorgeous forest, lower and upper paramo ecosystems, and to a breathtaking mountain-top lake.

Local guides provide day trips which include waterfall repelling, mountaineering, and climbing. Transportation and gear is included.

Mountain Climbing

Many tour operators work in the area. You can choose a trip to the  monastery, the ostrich farm, the dinosaur and fossil  museum, the observatory and more!

Horseback Riding

A short hike from the finca you can explore the ruins of Gachantiva, a town over 400 years old. Check out the llamas!
